Electro-caps are currently available with either 2mm plugs or touch-proof adaptors.

Standard Electro-Caps
Standard Electro-Caps are made from an elastic spandex-type fabric with recessed pure tin electrodes attached to the fabric.
The electrodes are positioned to the International 10-20 method of placement.
Standard Electro-Caps are available in four sizes:

Sizes are approximate; patients should always be measured to determine appropriate cap size.

Infa-Caps
Infa-Caps are similar to Standard Electro-Caps but are sized to suit new-born babies to infants of 9 to 12 months.

Infa-Cap I has International 10-20 placement.

Infa-Caps II and III have abbreviated electrode placements (F1, F2, C3, C4, O1, O2, T3, T4, Cz and ground).

Infa-Cap III can be used with premature babies by using E6 Disposable Sponge Disks on all electrodes.

Custom Electro-Caps
There are two types of custom Electro-cap:

OEM caps designed specifically for these EEG machines:

• Biologic
• Cadwell

Caps manufactured to your own requirements for electrode size, placement and number of channels.
